In 1997, Jackie Baxter started her career working for custom home builders in new construction sales as a licensed real-estate agent/builder representative and helping new construction buyers design and plan new custom home builds to their satisfaction. Originally, many of the homes were custom built in Cottage Grove and Woodbury, Minnesota. Jackie also helped with offsite builds on empty lots, acreage and in other developments implementing and advocating changes to design, floor plans, elevations, selections and structural material used to build homes buyers wanted. She worked closely with buyers from start to finish and addressed concerns and questions along the way. She developed a good rapport with builders and worked closely with them, as well as sub contractors and even architects, to insure the integrity of a product suitable to the home buyer.
